Paper Sack Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 double pie crust
    fresh apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Peel and cut apples in chunks.
    Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Sprinkle over apples and coat well.
    Pour in pie shell and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, cinnamon and nutmeg with 1 stick butter.
    Crumble on top of apples.
    Place in large paper bag, roll ends and fasten with paper clips.
    Bake for 1 hour on cookie sheet.
    This browns beautifully.
