Cheese Strips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf very thin-sliced sandwich bread, crusts removed
    1/2 lb. ground sharp Cheddar cheese
    6 slices bacon, fried, drained and crumbled
    1 small onion, minced fine
    1 small pkg. slivered almonds
    1 c. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix all filling ingredients well; then spread thinly over bread.
    Cut in strips about 1 inch wide and place in freezer on a cookie sheet.
    When solidly frozen, store in a plastic freezer bag and remove as needed.
    To reheat, bake on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven.
