Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (1.25 oz.) envelope taco seasoning
    1 can hominy (yellow with bell pepper)
    1 can Trappy's pinto beans with jalapeno
    1 (1.1 oz.) envelope Ranch Style salad dressing
    3 (14 oz.) cans tomatoes
    grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion.
    Add remaining ingredients (except cheese) to meat; bring to boil.
    Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
    Do not drain any ingredient, except meat grease.
    Serves 12.
