Ginger Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. molasses
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. warm water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all together and pour onto 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
    Cut into 64 cookie bars or pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Can frost with powdered sugar icing while still warm.
