Shrimp Luncheon Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 chopped onion
    1 chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 small cans shrimp
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt the shortening in skillet on high heat. Add ingredients in order listed.
    Place lid on skillet. When steaming freely, reduce to lowest heat and cook 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
