Eastern Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. grated ginger
    1/4 tsp. minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. oil
    1 head cabbage (3 lb.)
    6 oz. frozen peas, thawed
    1/2 c. chopped peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    In a small jar, combine the vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and salt.
    Shake until salt dissolves.
    Add the oil and shake again to combine. Shred the cabbage. A few hours before serving, combine cabbage, peas and dressing in a large bowl.
    Toss to combine.
    Can also add 1/2 cup chopped peanuts.
