Dermot'S Mother'S Flapjacks(English Teatime Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
3 Tbsp. Lyle's Golden Syrup (available at Passport Foods, Zabars or gourmet sections of supermarkets)*
2/3 c. brown sugar
4 c. flaked oats

Preparation

*Can substitute Karo light syrup but not as tasty.
