"Fresh" Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 small pkg. strawberry jello
1 1/2 pt. sliced fresh strawberries
cooked, cooled pie shell
Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix together water, sugar and cornstarch and cook until clear. Remove from heat and add jello; cool.
Place strawberries in pie shell.
Pour mixture over strawberries.
Refrigerate to cool and top with Cool Whip.
