Hot Milk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 whole eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter or margarine
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar gradually.
    Add flour (sifted 3 times with baking powder and salt) in 3 portions, beating well after each addition.
    Heat milk and butter.
    Add to mixture.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until brown, about 45 minutes.
