Belle Foust'S Carrot Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. carrots
    1 qt. onions
    1 qt. cauliflower
    1 qt. cucumbers
    6 red peppers (optional)
    6 green peppers (optional)
    4 c. white sugar
    3 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Soak carrots, onions, cauliflower, cucumbers and peppers individually in weak salt water overnight.
    Cook individually in same water, just until tender.
    Pour off water.
