Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. sweet milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 can yellow cream-style corn
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1/2 lb. ground beef, brown and drain
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix corn meal, sweet milk, salt, eggs, soda and corn in one bowl.
    Also mix bacon drippings, onion, pepper, ground beef and Cheddar cheese.
    Grease a heavy skillet and heat.
    Sprinkle with meal and pour in half of batter and beef mixture.
    Pour on remaining batter and bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
