Bavarian Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    1 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 medium onion, cut into wedges
    1 c. (1/2 bunch) fresh parsley, washed and stems removed
    2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 double or 2 regular chicken bouillon cubes
    pepper
    salt
Preparation
    In covered saucepan, bring 3 cups water to a boil.
    Add vegetables and simmer until tender, approximately 25 minutes. Pour water and press vegetables through a metal strainer, pureeing vegetables.
    Set water/vegetable mixture aside.
