Onion Casserole (Sarah'S Way) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium onions, sliced
    1 3/4 oz. potato chips
    1/2 lb. mild Wisconsin cheese, shredded
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Mix together the 2 cans of mushroom soup and milk.
    In a 9 x 12-inch buttered casserole dish, alternate layers of thinly sliced onions, crushed chips and grated cheese.
    Pour soup and milk mixture on top of onions, cheese and chip mixture; sprinkle with pepper.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Fill dish very full as it shrinks during cooking.
