Fried Deer Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 deer chops
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 recipe milk gravy *
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Coat meat with mixture. Brown on both sides in shortening in large skillet.
When meat is well browned, add water.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until tender.
Remove chops to heated platter.
Prepare milk gravy. Serve gravy with chops.
