Ingredients

1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. cold water
1 medium, thinly sliced cucumber (1 1/4 c.)
1 c. thin strips Bermuda-type onion (optional)
Preparation

Beat first 4 ingredients together.
Add cucumber and onion. Chill 30 to 60 minutes.
