Angel Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dessert topping mix
    1 c. powdered sugar
    slivered toasted almonds
    1 baked angel food cake
    1 c. cold milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    slivered maraschino cherries
    8 or 10 stemmed cherries
Preparation
    Combine dessert topping and milk; beat well.
    Add powdered sugar and cream cheese; beat.
    Cut cake into 3 layers.
    Place 1 layer on cake plate; spread with layer of topping mixture.
    Repeat layers.
    Frost top and sides; sprinkle with almonds and cherries. Refrigerate.
    Garnish with stemmed cherries.
