London Broil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 lb. high quality flank steak, scored
Preparation
    Stir together salad oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Brush on top side of meat.
    Set oven at broil.
    Broil meat 2 to 3-inches from heat about 5 minutes or until brown.
    Turn meat; brush with oil mixture and broil 5 minutes longer.
    (I prefer to cook outside on charcoal grill allowing more time to cook.)
    Cut meat across grain at a slanted angle into thin slices.
    Serves 6.
