Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 lb. margarine or Crisco
    4 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. coconut
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, egg yolks and shortening.
    Mix well.
    Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk.
    Beat egg whites last.
    Fold into batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 30 minutes.
