Dalmatian Sea Beast Fest - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head garlic, diced
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley or 1/2 Tbsp. dried
    4 Tbsp. olive oil (gives the correct flavor)
    1/2 to 1 c. red cooking wine
    1 to 3 Tbsp. plain bread crumbs (optional)
    1 lb. fresh, cleaned and uncooked shrimp (scallops or squid may be substituted)
Preparation
    Place garlic and parsley in oil and simmer in a skillet over medium heat until garlic becomes yellow.
    Add shrimp.
    Simmer 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Add cooking wine and simmer over a medium heat 10 more minutes, stirring frequently.
    At this point, if the sauce is not thick enough, 1 to 3 tablespoons of plain bread crumbs may be added as a thickener.
    Serves 4.
    Best served with peeled, boiled potatoes.
