"Potatoes Chantilly" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped stiff
    1/3 c. grated American cheese
Preparation
    Put mashed potatoes in a baking dish.
    Top with cream and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake in hot oven until cheese is melted and topping is golden brown and bubbling.
    Serves 6 to 8. Can freeze. Easy, can do ahead.
