Red Devil'S Food Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 5/8 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. red food coloring
2 eggs (unbeaten)

Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar, soda and cocoa. Add shortening, milk, vanilla and food coloring. Add unbeaten eggs. Beat 2 minutes. Pour in greased pans and bake at 350\u00b0. When cool, frost with desired icing.
