Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. yellow meal
1 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. soda
1 can cream-style corn
1/4 c. bacon drippings
1 1/2 lb. ground meat
1 large onion, chopped
1 c. cheese, grated
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped (canned)
Preparation

Mix together the first seven ingredients and set aside.
Brown ground meat; drain on paper towel.
