Bouillabaisse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. olive oil
    2 c. onion, diced
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 medium green pepper, diced
    3 to 4 carrots, sliced (precooked)
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1 tsp. basil, crumbled
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 lb. fresh shrimp, cleaned
    1/2 lb. fresh scallops
    2 c. dry white wine
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans canned crabmeat
Preparation
    In a large kettle, heat oil and saute onion, celery, garlic, green pepper and carrots.
    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings, shrimp and scallops.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer 30 to 60 minutes.
    Add wine and crabmeat.
    Warm only.
    Serves 6.
