Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. evaporated milk
    4 c. sugar
    8 sq. baking chocolate
    1/2 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix milk and sugar in a boiling pan.
    Bring to a boil; let boil 1 minute.
    Add chocolate squares.
    Beat until smooth and creamy.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, vanilla and salt.
    Makes 1 1/2 quarts sauce.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Serve on ice cream, cake, etc.
