Cuban Chickpeas And Chorizo (Portuguese Sausage) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 to 3 garlic cloves
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 can kitchen-ready tomatoes
1 can chicken broth
3 cans chickpeas, drained
3 to 4 medium size chorizos
1/4 lb. baked ham, chopped
2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
2 tsp. cumin
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

In large skillet, over low heat, heat the oil.
Then add the onion, pepper and garlic, stirring until tender, 6 to 8 minutes. Add the tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, basil, cumin and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook until heated through.
Add the chickpeas, chorizo and ham.
Reduce heat to low and cook 1 hour.
