Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. Crisco
Preparation
    Mix yeast, milk and sugar; let stand 10 minutes.
    In bowl, put flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in Crisco and liquid.
    Knead until smooth; roll out about 3/4-inch thick and cut place in greased pan.
    Brush with butter.
    Let rise 30 minutes or until double in size.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
