Butterscotch Thins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butterscotch chips
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt over hot water or in microwave the butterscotch chips and butter or margarine.
    Remove from heat and beat in the brown sugar and egg. Sift together the flour and soda. Add to mixture and beat well. Add the nuts and vanilla. Chill until it can be handled. Shape into 2 rolls. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill in refrigerator or freeze.
