Sweet-Sour Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon, fried crisp, drained and crumbled
    4 large onions, peeled and cut into rings
    1/2 to 1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 (15 oz.) cans dried lima beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can green lima beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
    1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) can new England style baked beans (undrained)
Preparation
    Place onions in skillet; add sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar.
    Cook 20 minutes; covered.
    Add onion mixture to beans and add crumbled bacon.
    Pour into a 3-quart casserole. Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 1 hour.
    Yield:
    12 servings.
