German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices (1/2 lb.) bacon, fried crisp and diced
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    8 to 12 potatoes, sliced
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Pour off excess fat, leaving 1/2 cup in skillet. Add flour, sugar, salt and pepper and blend well.
    Add vinegar and water. Cook until thick and pour over potatoes.
