Texas Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 c. dark Karo syrup
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Mix eggs and sugar.
Stir in salt, melted butter and Karo. Add pecans, last.
Bake in pie shell for 10 minutes at 425\u00b0. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until brown, or until knife inserted in middle of pie comes out clean, approximately 25 minutes.
