Jello Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 c. hot water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. defrosted frozen sliced strawberries
1 c. evaporated milk
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Dissolve strawberry gelatin in hot water.
Cool slightly. Stir in strawberries.
Chill until syrupy.
Chill evaporated milk in bowl in freezer until soft ice crystals form.
Whip until stiff.
Add lemon juice and sugar.
Beat very stiff.
Fold in marshmallows and nuts.
Add this to the gelatin mixture.
Spoon into 7-cup mold.
Chill until set.
