Ham And Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 slices ham
    8 to 10 medium potatoes, pared and thinly sliced
    2 onions, peeled
    salt and pepper
    1 c. grated Cheddar or American cheese
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery or mushroom soup
    paprika
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Toss potatoes in cream of tartar and water; drain.
    Put half of ham, potatoes and onion in crock-pot.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then grated cheese.
    Repeat with remaining half.
    Spoon undiluted soup over top.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Cover and cook on low for 8 hour or on high for 4 hours.
