Cheese And Bacon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    10 oz. crisp bacon, crumbled
    1/3 c. minced onion
    1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    4 eggs
    2 c. heavy cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    dash of ground red pepper
Preparation
    Sprinkle bacon, onion and cheese in bottom of pie shell.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour over mixture. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 for 30 more minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
    Serves 6 to 8.
