Homemade Ice Cream(Van Doren Hotel, Holly Springs, Mississippi) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 cans evaporated milk
    5 cans water
    6 eggs
    5 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add 1 tablespoon flour; beat well.
    Put a little of the hot milk into the egg and flour mixture.
    Mix well, then add this mixture to the scalded milk. Cook until thick.
    Add vanilla and freeze in 2-gallon freezer.
