Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 stalk celery, diced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) dark red kidney beans
    1 1/2 c. Minute instant brown rice
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. barbecue sauce
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Range Top:
    Cook and stir onion, green pepper, celery and garlic in hot oil over medium-high heat until tender, but not browned, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in beans with liquid and remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
