Canned Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornstarch
4 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
5 or 6 lb. sliced apples
8 c. water
Preparation
-
Mix cornstarch, sugar, spices and part of the water.
Pour over the apples.
Pour water over rest of the ingredients.
Cook until thick and bubbly.
Put in jars and seal.
No need to cold pack.
Jars seal themselves.
