Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef (round steak)
    2 Tbsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 cloves crushed garlic
    1 1/2 c. beef broth (1 1/2 bouillon cubes)
    1 c. sliced green onions
    2 green peppers, cut into strips
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 large fresh tomatoes
    3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Pound steak to 1/4
    inch thick.
    Cut into 1/4 inch wide strips.
    Sprinkle meat with paprika and allow to stand.
    Brown meat in butter; add
    garlic and broth.
    Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.
    (Or for
    really
    tender
    meat
    simmer for about 1 hour. Remember to check
    to
    be sure liquid does not all cook away.)
