Seven-Up Pound Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. cake flour
3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
5 eggs
1 c. Seven-Up
2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Sift cake flour 3 times.
Sift sugar 1 time.
Mix sugar and butter together.
Add eggs, mixing in one at a time.
Add half of flour and mix again.
Pour in Seven-Up and lemon flavoring; mix in remaining flour.
Bake 90 minutes.
