Roast(Pot Or Oven) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 5 lb. roast
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 c. water
2 tsp. salt
pepper according to taste
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 potatoes
4 carrots
1 large or 2 small onions
Preparation

Brown roast in hot fat (2 tablespoons vegetable oil) in heavy skillet or Dutch oven.
In separate pan, heat water, salt, pepper, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring almost to boil.
Pour over meat.
Cover and cook on low for about 3 hours.
Sometimes after browning, I place meat in small roaster pan, pour liquid mixture over meat and place in preheated oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 325\u00b0.
