Beaten Biscuits(Alabama Tech Extension Service) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 to 5 Tbsp. fat
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Mix and sift flour and salt.
    Work in fat with pastry blender. Moisten to a stiff dough.
    Grind in a kneader 15 minutes or beat with a rolling pin until smooth and well blistered, continuing folding over the dough to incorporate air.
    Roll about 1/3-inch thick.
    Cut with a small biscuit cutter and prick with a fork. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
