Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. powdered alum
1/2 c. salt
1 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. boiling water

Preparation

Pour boiling water over other ingredients.
Add food coloring. Knead to desired consistency.
Keep in covered container.
Makes about 1 cup.
