Ingredients

1 egg
5 potatoes
flour
salt
sugar
1 medium onion
Preparation

Grate the potatoes and onion in a large bowl.
Add egg and flour.
Mix to a semi-thick mixture (more flour can be added). Stir in salt and sugar.
Have pan ready with vegetable oil.
Let oil get hot. Scoop batter with large spoon and drop in pan (size for pancakes).
Fry until golden brown.
