Ingredients

1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. light brown sugar, packed in c.
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter.
Stir in sugar until blended.
Cool.
Stir in one egg.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add vanilla and nuts. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cut brownies while still warm.
