Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. peaches or other fruit
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    butter
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put fruit, 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon flour in pan; dot with butter.
    Take egg, sugar and shortening; mix.
    Add 1/2 cup milk, alternating with flour, baking powder and salt; blend well.
    Pour over fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour, or until done.
