Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef, cubed
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. minced onion
1/4 c. water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Roll cubed meat in flour and fry in hot butter until browned. Add garlic powder and onion and saute until onion becomes transparent.
Add water and cook until meat becomes tender (about 30 minutes).
Add soup and mushrooms and continue cooking, uncovered, over low heat until mixture becomes thick (about 20 minutes).
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Heat, but do not boil.
