Maw Maw'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. baking powder

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients and cream well.
Add flour and baking powder gradually.
Mix well and chill at least 30 minutes.
Roll on floured surface and cut.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes on ungreased baking sheet.
Makes 6 1/2 dozen cookies.
