Haystacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. bag butterscotch morsels
    1 bag hard chow mein noodles
    peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Place morsels (1/2 bag at a time) in hot double boiler.
    Stir until all morsels are somewhat melted.
    Add chow mein noodles and peanuts.
    Stir.
    Dip out by the spoonful and place on wax paper to harden.
    May place in freezer to harden faster, then eat.
    May substitute chocolate morsels for butterscotch if desired.
