Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of salt
    6 c. thinly sliced apples
    2 tsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Prepare pastry.
    Stir together sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
    Mix with apples.
    Turn into a pastry lined pan.
    Dot with butter.
    Cover with top crust.
    Cut slits in top.
    Cover edge with a 1 to 2-inch strip of foil to prevent burning.
    Remove the last 15 minutes.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crust and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
