Apricot Nut Snack Loaf(Recipe From England) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. finely chopped dried apricots
    1/4 c. finely chopped maraschino cherries
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Add nuts, apricots and cherries.
    Combine egg, milk and salad oil.
    Add liquid to dry ingredients.
    Stir only until flour is dampened. Turn into a well-greased 9 x 4 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Push batter up into corners of pan, leaving the center slightly hollowed.
    For a well-rounded loaf, allow batter to stand in pan 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
