London Broil With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak or flank steak
    1/3 c. wine vinegar
    1/3 c. oil
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Place steak in shallow glass dish.
    Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over steak.
    Cover dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight turning occasionally.
    Remove steak and grill 2 inches from medium coals until medium rare.
    Meanwhile, put onions in marinade in saucepan and bring to boil, then simmer until onions are tender.
    Cut meat across the grain into thin slices. Top with onions.
    Makes 4 servings.
